When you travel during vacation, which type of transport do you like to use?
휴가동안 여행할 때, 어떤 종류의 교통수단을 이용하시고 싶으세요?
When I travel in a foreign country, I like to go by train. In my opinion train travel is the most relaxing, civilised and fun way to travel. This is because it’s comfortable, you can usually enjoy a lot of scenery and you can get up and walk around. I don’t like long distance journeys by bus or car because I can’t stand up and stretch, and my body usually feels very stiff at the end of the journey. People often say train travel is very old-fashioned compared to travel by plane, which can be quite stressful and tiring. I think taking a long train journey in a foreign country is a great experience. But I also admit that sometimes a plane is almost unavoidable if I want to go to a foreign country which is far away.
해외를 여행 할 때, 기차 타는 걸 좋아해요. 전 열차여행이 가장 편안하고 문명화되고 재미있는 수단이라 생각해요. 편안하고 경치를 즐길수도 있으며 일어나서 걸어다닐 수도 있기때문이죠. 버스나 승용차로 이뤄지는 긴 여행은 별로 좋아하지 않아요, 일어서거나 스트레칭을 할 수도 없고 여행의 끝에는 주로 몸이 너무 뻐근하기 때문이죠. 사람들이 비행기 여행과 비교하여 기차여행은 꽤 스트레스가 쌓이고 피곤한 옛날방식 이라고 종종 말하지만, 해외에서 긴 기차 여행을 하는것은 꽤 좋은 경험이라고 생각해요. 그렇지만 저도 만약 멀리 떨어진 외국을 가고싶을 땐, 가끔은 비행기가 거의 피해갈 수 없는 선택이라는것은 인정해요.
