외국인 친구가 있나요?

Before I was able to speak English, I didn’t have any foreign friends because it wasn’t easy to socialise with foreign friends in Korea. Now that I have learnt English, I have travelled to different countries so I have naturally made foreign friends by speaking English with them. Even if they were not from English speaking countries,it wasn’t a big problem communicating with them. Having foreign friends helps me not only understand different cultures, but also realise that basically humans are all the same.

영어로 말할 수 있기전에는 외국인 친구가 없었어요, 왜냐히면 한국에서 외국인 친구와 사교하는것은 쉽지 않기 때문이죠. 이제 영어를 할 수 있기 때문에 다른 나라들을 여행하면서 자연스럽게 영어를 쓰면서 외국인 친구들을 만났어요. 영어권 국가에서 온 친구들이 아니라도 그들과 소통하는데 큰 문제는 없었어요. 외국인 친구를 사귀는것은 다른 문화를 이해할 수 있게 해줬을 뿐만 아니라 기본적으로 사람은 다 똑같다는걸 깨닫게 해줬어요.
