If you could build your own house, what kind of house would you like to live in?
집을 지을 수 있다면, 어떤 집에서 살고 싶으세요?
I would like to build a house which has a garden. I have always wanted to live in a house where I can enjoy sunning myself in the garden. This is one of the things I liked when I lived in England. Living in an apartment is convenient, but it is less private. So I would definitely build a house in a quiet area. I don’t want to have too many rooms because it will be difficult to clean all of them, so I think having four rooms would be good. I want the study, bedroom, kids’ room and guest room. I guess four might not be enough depending on how many kids I have in the future. And having a big garage is important because these days family members have their own cars.
정원이 있는 집을 짓고 싶어요. 저는 항상 정원에서 태양욕을 즐길 수 있는 곳에서 살아보고 싶어해요. 영국에서 살 때 제가 좋아했던 것 중의 하나가 바로 이런것이에요. 아파트에서 사는것은 편리하긴 한데, 덜 개인적이죠. 그래서 전 조용한 곳에 집을 지을 거에요. 너무 많은 방을 가지는것은 원하지 않아요, 그 많은 방을 다 치우기 위해서는 틀림없이 힘들기 때문이죠. 그래서 방 4개정도가 괜찮은거 같아요. 서재, 침실, 아이들 방 그리고 손님방 이렇게요. 얼마나 않은 아이들을 키우냐에 따라서 방 4개도 충분하지 않을 수 있겠네요. 큰 차고를 가지는것도 중요해요, 왜냐하면 요즘엔 가족 구성원들이 다 각자 차를 가지기 때문이죠.
