What did you do during the long holiday 추석 (Chuseok)?
긴 연휴인 추석동안 한 일을 말씀해 주세요
It was such a long holiday, almost eight to ten days, depending on how you count it. I don’t remember another national holiday as long as this one in recent years. I thought about going abroad to travel, so I searched for plane tickets, but they were almost double the usual price so I decided not to travel. I took a rest at home, read books I hadn’t got around to reading, and I cleaned parts of my house where I usually don’t bother cleaning. I also watched movies which I had downloaded before. I was planning to eat every meal at restaurants, but I got bored with restaurant food after seven days, so I decided to cook. My family and I took turns cooking and the food was very nice. I felt a bit sad as the holiday was coming to an end but I was a bit relieved to have my normal life back. What did you do during the long holidays? Please tell us what you did.
정말 긴 연휴였어요, 어떻게 세느냐에 따라 거의 8일에서 10일이였죠. 최근동안 이렇게 긴 연휴는 이번 연휴 이외에는 기억이 없어요. 여행하기 위해서 해외에 가려고 항공권을 검색했어요. 그런데 푯값이 일반적인 가격에 비해서 거의 두배인거 있죠. 그래서 해외여행하지 않기로 마음먹고 집에서 휴식을 취했어요. 읽을 기회가 없어 읽지 못했던 책들을 읽었고 평소에는 신경쓰지 않았던 곳까지 집 청소를 하였어요. 전에 이미 다운받아뒀던 영화도 보았고요. 매 끼니를 식당에서 먹을 계획이였는데 7일뒤에는 식당음식이 지겨워 졌어요. 그래서 요리하기로 하고 우리 가족과 제가 차례로 돌아가며 음식을 만들었는데 너무 맛있었어요. 연휴가 끝나가면서 다소 슬프기도 했는데요 조금은 저의 일상적인 생활로 돌아가는것이 안도되는 기분도 들었어요. 이번 긴 연휴동안 뭘 하셨나요? 저희에게 말씀해 주세요^^
