이메일을 얼마나 자주 사용하시나요?
Very often. I use it every day. I opened my account when I was a middle school student but had no one to email, so I emailed my dad for fun. Back then I didn’t think I would use email every day. I have at least three different accounts and maybe more, but I don’t remember as I stopped using certain accounts. I think being able to use email to communicate is really convenient, because you can communicate wherever you are. And it feels less urgent compared to text messages or phone calls, because you can check your email when you have time, but text messages or phone calls can easily disturb your work. Sometimes I think about the time when people had to send letters before the Internet appeared, and it took a lot of days to receive them. What a life!
매우 자주요. 매일 사용해요. 중학교 때 계정을 만들었으나 이메일 보낼 사람이 아무도 없어서 재미로 아빠에게 이메일을 보냈었어요. 그때는 이메일을 매일 사용할 거라곤 생각지 못했죠. 이메일 계정은 최소 3개가 있어요, 아마 더 있을 수도 있어요, 그러나 특정한 계정은 사용을 중지해서 기억나질 않아요. 의사소통하기 위해서 이메일 사용하는 것은 정말로 편리해요. 어디서든지 의사소통할 수 있으니까요. 문자나 전화와 비교해서 덜 긴급한 느낌이 있어요, 시간이 날 때 이메일을 체크하면 되니까요. 문자나 전화는 쉽게 일을 방해할 수 있어요. 가끔은 인터넷이 출연하기 전 사람들이 편지를 보내야 했던 때를 생각해 보는데 편지를 받기 위해선 며칠이나 걸렸겠죠. 그렇게 어떻게 살아요!
