What is the most difficult part in terms of learning English?
영어를 배울 때 가장 어려운 부분은 무엇입니까?
English is not an easy language for Koreans because the sounds, alphabet and even sentence structures are different. Just like the long distance from England, where English originated, to Korea, the two languages seem too different from each other. This is why it is very difficult and perhaps even impossible to choose only one. But I think the most difficult part in terms of learning English might be the pronunciation. At school some teachers teach that English only has five vowel sounds, which is not true. So pronouncing English exactly the way native speakers do needs hard work to master.
소리와 알파벳 그리고 문장 구조들이 다르기 때문에 영어는 한국인에게 쉬운 언어가 아니에요. 영어가 유래된 영국과 한국의 거리 만큼이나 두언어는 서로 너무 다른듯 보입니다. 이것이 바로 한가지만 고르는것이 매우 어렵고 어쩌면 불가능 할수도 있는 이유입니다. 그러나 영어를 배울때 가장 어려운 것은 발음이라고 생각해요. 학교에서 어떤 선생님들은 영어는 5가지 모음소리가 있다고 가르치시지만 사실이 아니에요. 영어발음을 마스터 하기 위해서 정확하게 원어민들 처럼 발음하는것은 정말 힘든 노력이 필요해요.
