Do you like cooking?

요리하는거 좋아하세요?

I am not a big fan of cooking, because I don’t like spending lots of time cooking in the kitchen. Sometimes when I have to cook for myself, I make simple dishes like ramen or fried eggs. I know some people really like cooking and they even try making different types of dishes. I think the biggest reason why I don’t like cooking is because I don’t like to fail. Because if I fail, it is such a waste. But I certainly love trying many different types of food from different countries, which means I have to spend lots of money on going to restaurants.

저는 요리를 좋아하지는 않아요. 부엌에서 많은 시간을 요리하는데 보내는것을 좋아하지 않기 때문이에요. 때로는 저를 위해 요리해야 될때는 계란 후라이나 라면 같은 간단한 요리를 만들어요. 어떤 사람들은 요리하는것을 정말 좋아하고 여러종류의 요리를 도전해 본다는건 알아요. 제 생각에 요리를 좋아하지 않는 가장 큰 이유는 실패하길 싫어하기 때문인 것 같아요. 왜냐하면 만약에 실패했을 때 (재료가)너무 아깝잖아요. 그렇지만 전 확실히 다른 나라들의 여러 종류의 음식을 먹어보는걸 좋아하는데 식당가는 것에 많은 돈을 써야된다는 의미이기도 해요.
